Breathing is the simplest prayer that anyone can do! It brings life and movement to the body and connects us to the world around us. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and relax.
2) DANCE WITH A FRIEND
Or even a sister or a brother! Have someone by your side, it makes for more fun!
3) LET IT GO
Just like that song from Frozen, it is best to “Let it go …” Don’t let nerves or what others may be thinking get in the way of your dancing.
4) ALWAYS REMEMBER: DANCE FOR GOD
Always remember that sacred and liturgical dance is, of course, first and foremost, for God! While the first three tips encourage you to relax, this last tip will help you focus on what is truly important: the love we have for God!
