Welcome to our Advent Moving Meditation Series! While our guided meditations help us to contemplate in silence, Moving Meditations allow us to contemplate in motion! For Advent, we will be focusing on the themes of the week – Hope, Faith, Joy, and Peace. As we are approaching Christmas, I know we may feel stressed and anxious, so let’s take a few moments to refocus, relax, and open our hearts to JOY.
Joy is an expression beyond happiness, where you can let go and be free. As we move in faith toward what we hope for, we may begin to feel happiness well up inside. Allow it to enter into your heart. Stretch out your hand towards what you long for, allow that longing to move you, and as the distance to where you’re going grows smaller, allow excitement to fill you and burst into spontaneous and joyful dancing! We are nearing the end of our waiting and soon, we will be at PEACE.
